It’s been a while since I blogged at Segullah, but I am there today. With a story about stories, and a glimpse into my mother’s heart. Come read about the special gift she gave our family.
Five children in four years, including two sets of twins, brought new meaning to Mary Oliver's earnest question. Our little people aren't so little anymore, but life is still wild, still precious. And this is my meager attempt to hold on, make it last. I love Doug, running, hiking in the mountains, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, the edge of an ocean, and connecting with you here. So happy to have you along.

Love your blog. Did you mother publish her Jesus book? I would love to have a copy.

Nancy – she hasn't. We've discussed self-publishing to make it more widely available, but we're worried about copyright issues with much of the art she chose. If anyone out there has suggestions, connections, I'd love to hear!

Cath, I am Marie Manwaring Anderson's daughter, Beth. I loved your story about your mom and I tried to email her. . .but the email address I had failed. She has been on my mind over the last couple of years, wondering how she was doing with her cancer. Can you give her my email address: [email protected], and have her email me. I would also like a copy of her Jesus book. That is the kind of stuff my mom did all the time. P.S. what was the article title in which you mentioned my mom? Thank you for your kind words — I just wanted to print off a copy of it. Beth Anderson Hulet

O.K. – I'm old and I think I am confusing myself. Maybe it was a story written down by Shelli? Do you know what I am referring to, by chance? Beth

Dear Beth – so nice to hear from you! I will pass your note on to my mother and have her email you. You're not confusing yourself. 😉 It was an article I wrote for Segullah that was republished on Meridian. Here's the link to the original post:
Your Mother was a darling, wonderful, talented woman. I'm not surprised the book is something your Mom might have done. Thanks for reaching out here. Blessings to you and yours.

btw – I love your articles and I am amazed at what you accomplish with 2 sets of twins. My oldest boy has a girl and 1 set of twins and that keeps my daughter-in-law super busy. Your blog is great and your family is beautiful. I will have to have my daughter-in-law check it out. 🙂
I also got your mom's new address from Gregg Manwaring's updated Manwaring address book and I got my original email sent off to her today. Thanks! Beth

What a great summer you guys have had! I've luved reading through your most recent posts and seeing the pics of your growing fam…the outing to Old Navy, seriously what a milestone for you! The family olympic reunion, looked simply sensational! It looked intense and I think I would really dig and luv every minute of that theme! And the penny story was great, I"m going to have to ask Cam about that…he has so many awesome Grandpa Wray stories, I wish I could have known him. I luv your mom's book…I made one for our family two years ago, but it's for the month of December…every year as January hits, i wish I had one I could use throughout the year…maybe this is the year I bite the bullet and actually do it. Lunch with your mom…there really is nothing better. Always luv your insights, always!
