Spring finally made its way inside. Thanks to Doug, we have daffodils on our dining room table…
The night Doug brought the daffodils home, I watched him snip ends and place them in vases of water. I listened quietly as he told the girls why he wanted them to have blooms in their bedrooms. “It’s so you can remember Grandma Ronda and the miracle it is that she’s still with us.”

Thank you for touching my heart with your words. Both you and your mom are great examples of faith and righteousness. Love to both of you.

Thanks for sharing your most precious feelings about your mother, Doug and the flowers. Of course what comes to my mind:
"Then my heart with pleasure fills and dances with the daffodils."
You are a living tribute of lovliness to your mother.

Amen. Believe, hope, pray and be happy. Sometimes that's about all we can do. 🙂

I concur with all the previous comments. I too prayed for your mother when I found out the first time, and continue to do so for her and for those you mentioned as well. Aren't mothers amazing!?! I pray every day mine will make it to the day when I might have children to know her. I believe they'll have to know your mother as well. 🙂

Cristie – I think it's a perfect fit too.
Leslie – Missing you and hoping to get together soon. xo
Andrea – Ah… Wordsworth. Thank you for that. Reminds me of the DC beltway this time of year. Lines and lines of daffodils. Is it popping there yet?
Corinne – Remembering your mother as well. Hers is a miracle story too. How is she doing?
Brod – Amen to your Amen.
Jo – Yes, Mothers do amazing things! Joining you in a hope for the future and trusting in the promises.

What a beautiful post. Thank you for such a lovely tribute to your mother's strength and enormous spirit. I have been thinking of Christ's admonition to fear not, only believe for a few weeks. My prayers will go out to you and your family.
